New user trying to lear how to render in Vray

Im an architect trying to make some interior as well as exterior renderings for my projects. I have tried playing with materials and lights, but I really have no idea what I am doing. Does anyone have any good setting for interior and exterior architectural rendering. Might be a very vague question, but any advice, help, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Anything at this point would help me more then you know. Thanks.

my only advice is to keep on playing with the settings , if you read the vr for rhino manual it solves a lot of problems , i was a novice about two weeks ago , just by playing around a few nights i can already produce decent images and i am by no means a rocket scientist!
