Some may contain procedural textures that aren't available in VRay for SketchUp yet - that may explain any problems you may have encountered.

like vodka am really new to this both softwares sketch up and vray, but would like to learn it as soon as possible, so if u guys can guide me pls, do the needful i want turorials for v ray ,any links and source ? also i am using su 5 and do i need to download ne plugins for materials or renderin which can support vray for desired results.................

Hi, We still waiting for the "easy totorials for the beginners like me"...I think is complicated try to learn from the begin from tutorial of rhino....We need really desperate the tutorials so we can understand and later buy the soft...I personally think as a Marketing Director, If I do not understand the product I do not BUY IT!!!!....

You are absolutely correct about this. The issue at hand, however, was we discovered a flaw that is causing us to rework our material system a bit. So we were holding off on creating training material until that was finalized. The UI of our material / options / texture editor is about 95% the same as in Rhino, which we do have some documentation for. So until we finish up the reworking we're just trying to make due with what we have. But we will be providing Sketchup-specific documentation as soon as we get through our current development hurdle ( which should be in the next 3-4 days ).

I think spot 3d and mods are very helpful until now but still tutorials would be nice
