A simple way to render materials in VRay is to apply textures in SU and make a linked-texture from the VRay interface. The problem is we can't (I can't and some other can't) apply bump map to the diffuse layer of a linked-texture without crashing SU.
Then creating a texture directly in VRay and apply it to the SU Model should be the solution. All is ok for creating the material. It becomes to complexify when rendering : the texture scale is so little we can't see anything but the average color of the texture (yes, the explicit map channel is checked...).
Will the possibility to apply bump to the linked texture be implemented in the next version or do you have a no hyper complex method to teach us ? I mean a combination of operations a six years child could understand...
