The material tester scene is a nuetral environment, but there is no hdri associated with that file. You could render an hdr from that scene if you wanted to. If I get some time then I'll get that posted.
I am using Rhino and V-ray and i am an amateur yet. How can i have an object looking very shiny with using HDRI maps or i dont know if its called HDRI Environment maps. I downloaded some HDR files from here but i dont know how to use it in my scene with an object. Can somebody explain please ? Thank you.

Maybe Joe link to my starter kit. If not, the starterkit could help you, because it contain HDRIs and a HDRI setup. If you use HDRIs, you must set the right HDRI type like spherical, angular or mirror ball. My kit contain spherical maps. Good luck.
