  • render batch

    hi

I am wondering if it is possibly to set up several renders to process one after each other so you can render a series of images overnight.

    thx

    Re: render batch

Yes it is possible. We had a script for it, but when we migrated our website a while back it some how got "misplaced". It will be up probably some time after the beta for the update is released.

          Re: render batch

finally i got it working too, thanks sebastian... ;D
but it's a little weird: I have to save the rhino file with the named views (for example a-b-c), ANd the named views have to be visible in the viewportlayout when saving.... if I have the saved named views, but save the file when having for example the typical views top-perspective-front-left in the viewportlayout, the batchrenderer trys to jump to the view, does not find her and quits, goes on to the next queued view and so on...
at least thats how it works for me, you can never know with these computermysteries. :;D
          ciao,

... maybe it's not much work for now, a Rhino 4 version could be nice.

              Re: render batch

hey Martin heres how you can set it up:

click on the red car icon in the rhino 3 toolbr and then edit toolbars. Here you can save the views and pick a name. These names will then later show in your batch dialog box.

              should solve your problem

              works for me
