Directly No, but if you render out a full pass. Then render out just a pass of the desired layer. Then you can take the alpha of the layer pass and use that to load as a channel or selection in photoshop. Currently we don't have much control over some of the channels in the vray frame buffer. I'd like more, but I don't believe they have been released as part of the sdk.
Hide everything except what is on that layer, then do a quick render. It doesn't have to be very good from an illumination standpoint, but the antialiasing should be at the same settings as the full pass. Then make sure you have the alpha channel of that image saved. Now you can basically load the alpha channel of the pass with only that layer and use it to generate a selection for the full image.
