  • problem with emissive materials in release candidate??

    for some reason the emissive materials do not seem to be working for me in the release candidate. is this a bug, or did something change. i am trying to render a model where the emissive materials worked fine in the last beta, but currently they do not seem to work at all. any light that can be shed on this (pardon bad joke) would be appreciated

      Check and see if you have the physical camera enabled. If you do than the regular intensity of the lights that you would use with a standard camera will not be bright enough to show up with the physical camera. The physical camera is enabled by default, so if you haven't changed it or haven't loaded a new visopt, chances are that its still enabled.

          The only change made to the emissive material is now the "double-sided" property will effect whether the light material emits on both sides or not. This previously was not the case
