    Re: evermotion archshaders

Maybe with the converter that will be out soon, but I'm not sure if the shaders are simply a different way of defining a Vray material, or adding new functionality to the vray material. If its simply different definitions of the Vray material, then I think it would work with the converter, but if it actually adds some different functionality then we probably won't be able to support them. I have seen the shaders that you talking about, but have not been able to get my hands on them to see how they work.

Start with the default options. Change the Image sampling to Adaptive Subdivision and set the min/max rate to 0-3. Change the primary engine to Irradiance Map. Set the IM min/max rate to -4,-3 or -3,-2 and set the subdiv to 30. This will be good for tests, and all you have to do for finals is enable Detail Enhancement. You can lower the LC subdiv to 300-400 for tests, and set it back to 1000 or even 1500 for finals. This is really basic, and doesn't handle everything, but it will get you started.
