    Re: Animation with Vray

Render final image goes through all of the light calculations like for LC and IR but does not render the final image. This is useful when you want to precalculate any light solutions, but don't want to have the final image. So for animations, Irradiance map doesn't need to be calculated for every frame (usually between 5-10 is good) so if you precalculate a shortened animation for IR and don't render the images you can get an IR map the you can use for the whole animation in much less time.

        Re: Animation with Vray

In our tutorial section there is one on animating with vfr and Rhino's built in animation tools. I think you should read through that and post any specific questions that you have afterwards. Right now I'm not sure what your really looking for, so that would be a good basis to get a foot hold on animation. I could explain a few of the steps, but thats why I wrote the tutorial.
