Any idea how to do something like this?

I am trying to render some custom Diamond cuts for my job but I need to make a map of it and if i could do this it would make a great map!

Travis is our resident jewelry expert and might be the best to comment on this, but the main thing going on in that image is the caustics. The diamond and ground material are pretty straight forward, but those caustics are going to take a bit more to set up. I should have a diamond or two lying around so I'll see what I can setup and get back to you. You could also add a dispersive material on the diamond and see what results, but my initial reaction is that it will add more time then its really worth, since the caustics setup is going to require a number of lights (maybe a job for my big machine ;D)).
