  • Can't find Sketchup tutorials for material editing..

Hi guys, i'm new to this VRAY plugin (and new to these forums). I've had Skp for like 3 years now. I want to learn how to apply reflections and transparency to textures.. but i can't find that tutorial. Sorry if the tutorial was just like a click away. Thanks.

I found the tutorials. Thanks anyways. But i am a bit disappointed, because i followed every single instruction in one example, and i could no get the rectangular light to work. I placed it outside, just outside the window like it said and i made the render from the inside and the image came out very dark. I even deleted the window, and still the image was very dark. I then deleted the rectangular light and the same thing happened. So i don't know what i'm doing wrong, but i got so frustrated... I have been trying for like 2 hours and i can't get the lights to work. Oh, and i tried to put some reflections on materiales, and nothing happened. Well, i guess no one can help, that's what the tutorial is for, isn't it?

You will need to increase the multiplier significantly because of the Physical camera. The Physical Camera is exposing the scene in much the same way you would with a real camera, and the light units are not set up for that, so thats why you will need to have a higher multiplier.
