Help! I cannot get Batch Render to work correctly!

I've read in past ASGVIS posts that you need to make the saved views active in the 4 viewports. But, aside from adding extra viewports, this limits me to batching only 4 renderings. Is there a fix to this problem? A de-bugged version of the software? Any updates if this is being worked on by ASGVIS?

I've also heard rumors of users altering the software's code to fix the problem. Anyone seen a version that did this and worked?

    Thanks!

Re: Problems with Batch Render Unsolved

We have been fixing some bugs behind the scenes on the batch render plugins. We have solved a few issues related to certain views not being handled properly. If you are in a tight deadline and absolutely need these bug fixes now then contact me via email. Otherwise I will get our modifications into a release to post later this week or early next week.

No I haven't put that in an installer yet. I'll do that now before I forget again. We're in the middle of a service release so its a bit hectic.

Ok - I just posted the installers with the latest version of the batch render plugins to the Tools section. They have a few fixes in there regarding viewport naming and we removed some of the file formats that weren't saving out properly.

Re: Problems with Batch Render Unsolved

I have been trying to use the new rhino 4 batch render tool. Does not work at all. Saved views loaded into the render cue just run through without opening. I have tried opening all saved files within my viewport as described in the rhino 3 batch fix without luck.
Getting this up an running would be truely appreciated.

                Thx

have you tried closing all the files you want to render. before you close and save them though, make sure that the views you want to render are the ones you see. for some reason this seems to work, at least for me...ie, open a new scene, and start the batchrender from there.

Could you send me the 3dms that you are having trouble with as well as a list of the views you are trying to render? That would help me fix it. Thanks
