Re: DR. where to start ?

Under our System tab in our options you can enable DR and choose which machines to use. You can refer to servers by their computer name or by IP address. You will need to have our DR Spawner running on those other machines - if you installed it on the machine it should be in Program Files\ASGvis\Render Slave\DRSpawner.exe

There are some issues right now with Sun/Sky when used with DR - just as a warning. But we should have a service release out by the end of September - early October that will clear up that bug.

Also check out the end of the V-Ray training manual...there is a section that goes through DR setup

Not a problem, no stupid questions here - but the options are pretty much all the same between VfR3 and VfR4

does DR. works on VfR3 ?

I could find it on Vfr4 but not on 3, this is really bad because I need to update rhino to 4 version.

Re: DR. where to start ?

It works on VfR3 SR1, DR is a new feature and the original release of VfR3 does not have it. You do not need to upgrade to VfR4.

You should be able to download VfR3 SR1 from our downloads section. If you have any problem getting it, or using your serial number, go to the support center and log a ticket or email support@asgvis.com.
