Why Vray Light Sphere doesn't work in rendering? No shadows, no light

Hi,
I just downloaded my Sketchup Vray.
I am trying a tutorial that requires me to place a Light Sphere into my environment to act as my "sun"
However, when i pulled the sphere into my sketchup...and tried rendering...there was not trace of sunlight or shadows in my model.
Could it be because all my materials in sketchup is not vray materials?

This is a known issue and will be fixed for the service release. The beta of the service release should be coming out any day now.
