  • How do i make the background render white?

Does anyone know how to make the background render white.
i have changed the environment settings in visopt file to white but it doesn't seem to do anything. I have also tried putting a bitmap in as white and that doesn't do anything either. I've also tried saving as a png so i can change it in photoshop but whenever i have glass it makes the background behind the glass black so that doesn't work either.
    am i missing anything?
    thanks

You probably have the physical camera still enabled, which will prevent the background from coming up as expected. Try a few schemes with the physical camera disabled and that should do the trick (if you're still using the sun, the you'll either need to ditch it or decrease its intensity to about .003 or something like that(

Another way is to render a png which means that the BG will be transparent. take it to photoshop and create another layer for your BG and fill any color you want like white clouds, etc.
