  • Decal problem.. again..:)

    hello,
    ok I have followed manual and micha's tut on decals..
    here is the front view all okay but even if I uncheck tile in maping it puts the decal in the inside...
    then the back view is the reverse... what can I do to apply the logo just to the front view of the camera and for it not to appear on the inside or the rear of the cup...??

    ... you must split the model and set different mapping widgets for the surfaces/polysurfaces. For example if you don't like to show the decal on the inner surface, than move the planar widget outside the model for the inner surface only.

      thank you Micha I was afraid you would say that.. so I have tu split my surface the size of the decal and apply the decal color map only to that split part.

        You know, you can use the same material for all parts? You must set the planar widget so, that decal projection meet the decaled parts and for the undecaled so, that the projection is outside the object surfaces.
