  • HELP!!!

    Hello
I'm just starting using V-Ray for sketchup following the tutorial. In the step that I create a rectangular light, the first rendering supose to be really bright, but the render looks the same like the previous steps I did, like there's no light on the scene. Can anyone tell me if I'm doing anything wrong, or if there's something wrong about my sketchup?I'm using sketchup pro 6.
I'll apreciate any answer or sugestion. Thanks.

    Re: HELP!!!

The issue is with the physical camera which is enable by default. The defaults that the manuals were based on got changed 3/4 of the way through making it, so just disabling the physical camera will throw things off. I've attached the old defaults, so load these settings up and start from page 1. Every thing should work inline with the book.

        Re: HELP!!!

Then check and make sure that you have lights enable in global switches. Maybe posting a visopt and a screenshot would help.

          Re: HELP!!!

It worked... The problem was that, acording to the tutorial, when rendering the scene after creating the first rectangular light, the image should be too bright because the "No Decay" box should be checked by default, but it wasn't. I apologize, my mistake :-[
Thanks anyway for the suggestions, and sorry if my english isn't right, I speak spanish...

            Re: HELP!!!

Yep, that will do it too. Don't worry about you're english...there are plenty of people on the forum who don't speak it as a first language, so most of us are used to sorting out the meanings.
