I'm still trying the demo, I just can't seem to figure out how to get bump maps to work on reflective layers. I'd like to get some of the nice water for a pool (like shown in the VfSU downloaded manual), and it isn't working. Any suggestions?

Re: water
A simple noise map will work. The reason why you haven't seen anything is because its probably not mapped correctly. In order to may images efficiently you're probably going to have to use a linked material, and in order to manipulate the texture you're going to have to have a texture map on the base SU material. As long as you have that base image (even if its just an image of a color) then you can adjust its size and therefore the bump map.Damien Alomar<br />Generally Cool Dude

Re: water
Thanks, that helped. I managed to get an acceptable water image. It appears that my problems were: the mapping you mentioned (I misjudged the scale of textures by several orders of magnitude); the lighting; and possibly of getting conflicting values in the bump and reflection settings. It will clearly take a bit of tweaking of values to get the desired result, but it is getting better.
