I would put a sky image (preferable a HDRI) in the 'environment' slot. If you want to save the sky with the render then you will need to save the final render as a jpg. (If you save it as a png, then the sky will disappear)

I save the renders as BMP files as I don't want the original to suffer from the JPEG compression.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

Yes I know if I save the render in a png image the sky disappear; I saved my render in jpg file but wath can I do to the sky appears more blue or red or with a real sky image. I saw some of your renders and the Sky is very well How I can obtain these sky quality in my renders.

All I can suggest is that you choose your HDRI carefully. There are a range of different sky types out there (e.g. 'spectralogue' etc) and you need to choose one that suites your scene, or adjust it first in Photoshop (PS). Or you base it on a site photograph. If it is a montage then this is the best way.
The alternative is to insert the sky afterwards in PS.

          Good Luck

You can rotate the background. put an angle in the environment-background-bitmap-horizontal rotate slot.

However, if you are still not happy with the background, then I would just make a billboard to put in the background. That way you have more control over whats happening. Just add an emmissive layer and increase the value until it looks right.
I tend to use images in the environment slot only to create window refelections, and even for this I sometimes resort to billboards, because you have better control over them.

Have a look at chillrenders recent post or mine (http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=c...11641#msg11641) for examples.

              Good Luck
