  • vray materials still don't match the sketchup materials

i am really happy with the new improved vray sketchup(version 01.00.34), Although i am still having problems with something i thought was fixed with this new version. my understanding is that any material that i am using in sketchup should now show up in my vray materials editor without me having to import it or link it. For some reason only my solid colors show up and my translucent colors for glass do not show up. is there any reason for this?
My apologies if this question has been answered in a post already

    thanks

Re: vray materials still don't match the sketchup materials

Hmm, sorry to hear you're having troubles. I tried applying a sketchup glass material to a box, to see if a corresponding v-ray material would be created. It appears that the material was created just fine, and when I render, it appears render fine. I might be misunderstanding the situation a bit though, or perhaps it's an issue that's been resolved in our more recent internal build? It's hard to say.

I would recommend that you submit a help ticket through our support section, so that a support case is created, and it gets sent off to our developers. If needed, we may need an example scene file or screen capture of the issue to analyze it further.
