I'm unable to create Bump/Displacement in Skp Vray rendering. Can you please explain me how to do that.
I followed the manual i have and can see the bump effect in the V-ray Material Editor in the Preview, but in the final render, the surface looks smooths without any bump.
Steps I followed
1. Create a surface in Sketchup
2. Applied texture A on the surface
3. Opened V-Ray material editor, right click -> Add material -> Add VrayLinkedMtl and from Choose.. Dialogue box, selected 'texture A' -> Apply
4. Pulled down 'Maps' and checked 'Bump', clicked on 'm', selected 'Bitmap' from Type dropdown, clicked on 'm', selected the greyscale image of texture A, clicked 'Apply'.
5. on 'Update Preview', i can clearly see the Bump effect in the Material Preview. However, when i render the image, I cannot see any bump effect.
Tried the same with Displacement, that does not work either. Plz help.
Thanks,
Vikram.
