I´m in the same situation as Hoop, getting a new station. I would be more then happy if you can give me som short feedback about:

    - What is the main advantages of go XPpro64, instead of XPpro32 ???
    - Will it causes issues with other softwares (Adobe CS, sketchup, office, shareware... what is your experiences?

    - Is RAM 4MB, 512 graphic card enough?

XP64 allow you to use Rhino 4 until 3.6GB RAM, at XP32 it will crash earlier - so, if you want to do your best for your large models, than use XP64.
Rhino4 will crash at approx. 3.6GB, if you installed 5GB RAM or more, if you use less RAM, it will crash earlier, so my experience. Only the Adobe PDF Printer dosn't work here.
If you have Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional, the adobe PDF printer will work on WinXP 64bit. This is what I am using.

I bought Acrobat 3D in the past and my Acrobat is version 7, so it seems to be fixed for version 8.

That is a much debated topic and you will hear alot of conflicting information. In my opinion, if you want cheap but good card then get a gaming card, something like NVIDIA GE Force 8800GT. If you are doing really hardcore stuff then get somthing NVIDIA Quadro range.

As long as you get a card that is at least 512 then you should be fine.

Is Acrobat 3D any good? I have been interested in buying this but haven't had the time to really look at it.

Re: Vista vs. XP, 64 Bit

Good question - I got it for a good price, but don't used it often. I used it for discuss 3D models with clients without Rhino. I like the simple export from Rhino to Acrobat per "PrintScreen" button. The 3D model and textures are captured. (It's a pity, that the AIR renderer baking is limited for single CPU, so this baking is worthless for me.)
