  • scaling materials

    after rendering my materials didnt come out to scale...how would i scale the materials in the materials options? i just cant seem to find window or button or that something. i would appreciate it.

    You know, for get about material editors scaling, just applay texture in sketchup, scale it and creat linked vray material. It is simple and very handy. If you creat materials this way, than you have bump map, desplacment map same cordinats as deffuse map!

      Yes - the same theory basically applies to V-Ray for Rhino too. We rely primarily on RDK mapping to handle the scaling of textures. Our interface is meant for really simple stuff that is generally only helpful with procedurals ( like making a checkerboard repeat 2 times or something like that ).

      To get to the mapping property page you need to select an object in Rhino and hit F3 - then select the "Texture Mapping" panel.

        Texture mapping is located under properties. Hope this helps...
