lighting please help

hi i have vray for rhino 4 as well as rhino 4 , i always use to render with flamingo, now im learning vray ... i cant seem to use my lights from rhino to any effect at all in vray , it renders the same with or without lights , is there something im missing?

Maybe your light intensity is to low or lights are enabled at the global switches. For a quick start play with starterkit 4 (from the general section).

as it turns out my exposure was set to low , the tutorials help alot, thank you
