  • to render consecutively as in max

    Hi all VfR users,

i dont know if you allready figured it out but i want to share smth about how to render consecutively as in max after creating the scene and adjusting your camera, target (sorry not focal lens it has to stay same).

you may find a tutorial about animation in Rhino vray here http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=c...d=37&Itemid=57

what we will be doing is only change the camera and target paths and set the frame number same as our pre adjusted camera-target numbers.

ok go to your first camera view and find the view port properties by right clicking the view port name then write down camera position and target position coordinates. do this for all cameras.

select polyline tool and write down camera 1 coordinates then camera 2 ......
select polyline tool again and write down target 1 coordinates then target 2.....

now if you make the animation adjustment you may find that these frames are not what you want. why? because your lines are not same lenght to make them same measure the line segments write down the number, find the longest one. after that for the smaller segments you need to make these segments same. i am doing it bye finding the difference and divide it half (i will call it x/2), draw a single line on the smaller line that has a lenght x/2 perpendicular and copy it a little away from first line split the main line (small line) move the splited line to other side of the x/2 lines and join Small line 1st part,x/2,Small line mid part,x/2 and small line 3rd part to gether do same to other lines and target path line.

now you have a camera and a target path that has same lenght segments. now if you adjust animation most probably the result may be good if not check the directions of these path lines and make sure they are in the same direction.

    Bye.

So are you using the animation setup as some sort of batch render tool??? We already have a batch render tool, and we're in the middle of making some revisions to it.

Again, is this informing us of your technique, or asking if it would work?

Whatever works for you is fine...Our batch render tool is a little thin at the moment, hence the revisions that we're making. I'm glad you were sharing because we've had some people not being able to use our batch render tool as is (it doesn't work very intuitively), so if that helps them out, then thats good, since it will be just a little while till the new batch render gets out there.

A little news on the batch renderer, we're going to try to make it as flexible to use as possible, with a bunch of extra features and expansion on the current batch render tools. One of the main things is that the view will be retrieved from the list of Named Views rather than just the available viewports, different file formats (possible vrimage support), different file locations, and different visopts should be in there as well.
