how do i turn off shadows for omni light

Hi..

How do i turn of omni light shadows n still keep the omni light on?! when ever i try to switch off the shadows, the light itself gets switched off.. causing problem in render. n if i have multiple omni lights, the renders r getting really messy with multiple shadows. will be thankful if anyone can help..
