Hey guys, i have a problem which i've yet to find a solution. I downloaded this chair from fritzhansen.com

obviously it's very jagged and when rendered it doesn't look great. Is there anything i can do to make it better without have to remodel it?

Yea that mesh looks pretty bad...inconsistent topology, odd normals, and fairly coarse. I personally don't know of any specific way to remedy this without remodeling. Maybe someone else out there has a better idea of what could be done. On the bright side, I don't think it would take too long to remodel it, since it looks fairly simple.

I think that you will have to remodel it to get smooth faces and edges. You can always reduce the vertex count to make a little easier to remodel. Doing this will simplify the mesh and make easier to remodel.

perhaps if rhino smooth doesnt work , you can try a 3ds max turbo smooth
