skymap on glass

Can anyone recommend a quick and easy way without changing many settings to get a sky map to show up as a reflection on glass (without using photoshop of course)?
I have been trying for sometime and it seems the options are endless. Is there a quick way?thanks

By skymaps, I think you are refering to BackGrounds/BillBoards:

or, more simply, you just insert a sky bitmap (jpg or hdr) in the 'environment'-background slot and set the UVW to 'environment'
