Do I have to place a rectangular light behind the camera when rendering to cr8 a better scene?

I would say that a light behind the camera will give a very flat, and therefore boring, lighting. Assumimg that you dont have any natural light in the scene (and very good effects are created with natural light), then place the lights where you want light. So you need to play around to get the best effect.
