  • how to load IES files?

hi all excuse me the noobness, but i've been triying , and i can't, find the way to load my IES files into a rhino scene, can any one giveme a pointer or something?

aH also, looked in the forum for a topic like this, but all topics i found, were about trouble shooting the settings of the light in a scene, but not a more basic one ( how to get started )

    thanks a lot

Re: how to load IES files?

run the visIESLight command...then look in the Light properties and there should be a button in there to select a file. IES lights aren't 100% supported, but all that means is that there is no intensity adjustment and that they can't be used with DR.

Re: how to load IES files?

          Hi
          1. try to copy any light-button of vray-toolbar with pushed ctrl+left m.button
Shift+right click m.b. - edit command at new button
          2. then put command visIESLight to left mouse but.command sector
and of course - after modification, save it > tools menu>> toolbar layout>>save all in file menu
          I'm sorry for my English
