  • metal behind glass material

    Hi,

    I have the following problem.. and hope I am explaining it fine..
    when between my camera and object with assigned chrome material stays glass separator (solid), all the reflections and glossiness of the object disappear and it seems black.

    example:
    camera -> glass | chrome

    (with an affect shadow option the chrome appears like chrome but the glass looks bad)
    thank you

    VfR Options -> Global switches -> set max reflection/refraction depth (each surface counts).

        Units - no, you set how many times the calculated ray goes through surfaces. Example: if you look through a drink glass from the side view - 4 times surfaces are leavened.
