Updating the position of the standard "sun" light in a Sketchup scene

Hi,

I haven't posted much (if at all) but that's because i haven't needed to ask much before. Also, being a total beginner with using Vray I don't feel that my comments on other peoples work can be very constructive...

anyway i was just wondering on how to move the standard "sun" light in a sketchup model. I change the shadows/day light settings within the Sketchup interface e.g. Location, Time and Date
Vray will sometimes work with these changes.. but other times it'll totally ignore what changes ive made with the Time and Date settings.

It just seems sheer luck if the sun will move or not.

Is there a way of moving the sun around easily?

go to the GI(Skylight) and push the 'update' button.It should work. You have to check the 'default lights' in global switches, witch is the sun.

That's a known bug in the original version. After ServiceRelease 1 it's synced fine. You can find link to the latest version, SR1.5, from my signature. Free update.

im currently trying to get the company i work for to invest in Sketchup Pro and in a copy of Vray ... for me hehe as i'm the only person who can model in 3D
