I made a test scene a while ago to see how i could use v-ray to make a reasonable water. I was quit satisfied with the results and thought i was ready with water for the rest of my life.
Now i have to make a much bigger plane of water(60x60 m) and i thought scaling up the plane and using the same material on it would do the trick.
It does'nt, it looks like shit. I used a bitmap in the background slot and a bitmap in the bump slot.
Does anybody have a scene with a big waterplane and a watermaterial to use with it.
It appears to me that it is impossible to attach images in this forum. If i click ijavascript:void(0);nsert image it inserts the text img. See below.[

Try using photobucket or imageshack to post your images on here. They are both free websites. As far I know they don't store images on the forums anymore. Once the image is I'm sure more people will be able to help you out as we'll be able to narrow down the problem a bit easier.
