  • texturing settings from SU to vray editor

Hi!first of all i wanna greet all the users of this forum! This is my first topic...and i'm quite sure it won't be the last!I already use v ray for rhino, so i'm not really a noob (i hope so ).
Here is my problem.I applied a text image in su with the paint bucket tool, and set the dimension, oientation etc...now i select it and create a vray linked material (to use the image as the diffuse).then i tried to modify my text in the diffuse settings (under the little 'm' button).but the changes that i made in the diffuse editor don't affect in the final render the surfaces which i applied my material to.For example i tried to mirror my diffuse image because it was not perfectly tileble (hope this word exist ??? ), with no results!.
I already search the argument in the forum and red some topics about it,but i didn't find the solution of my problem!
    Hope someone could help me!thanks!

Re: texturing settings from SU to vray editor

It's best to do all UV mapping in SU. Using the V-Ray material box doesn't give you much control.

And there's an update to V-Ray for Sketchup available. SR1.5 (v1.05.30). It fixes a few bugs and issues the old one had.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.
