  • HDR reflection using phisycal cam ?

    Hi guys ,
last week I work on lights , mats and camera map on scene ( for me is so hard to adjust ligh/s using VRfR ).
Presently I dont like the way reflective mats looks like - I use HDRmap in reflection slot of GI options but reflective mats becomes darker , try HDR for background - 100% black rendering , switch off phisycal cam - 100% white rendering ...

Is there any possibilities to add any reflections using phisycal cam ?

    advanced thanx

Re: HDR reflection using phisycal cam ?

    Hi If
The main function for the physical camera is to correct the exposure of the sun. The physical sun is to mimic a real sun, thus it is very bright. The physical camera should reduce the brightness of the sun, therefore reduce the other light as well including the HDRI. So, if you are using the fisical camera you have to increase a lot the multiplier for the HDRI and for the other lights that you are using. If you are not using the sun, but you still want to use the physical camera, you should disable the exposure option on the camera, to avoid that the physical camera control the exposure of your scene.
