hi everyone ,im a newbie here as well as with rhino + vray, please someone help me with the settings to produce realistic grass render and generally how to use displacement, im using rhino4+vray, i tried to render a 5meters x 5meters lawn(suppose to be) but came out flat at all,what settings should i check or increase?..under texture editor-maps-displacement-what should i choose?(bitmap?fresnel?) should i choose texture or environment?..under vray options-displacement,what should i increase-edge length?max subdivs? amount? and what boxes below should i check?...sorry im really lost in rhino,please help me, id really like to use rhino+vray for rendering,thank you very much..

hello rockstar. im using vray for sketchup. use displacement map.. anyway, find the tutorial here in the forum. if you cant find one, look for "teofas' rug tutorial" but its on sketchup. and i think its similar to vray for rhino. here is a grass render from vray for sketchup using a displacement map.
