  • Newbie Here need Help?

good pm guys, i'm a newbie in using vray for sketchup, i've rendered a few scenes before, no problems whatsoever, but just now i got stumped with this, i've used an image from the net as texture:

    here's the scene:

and this is what i ended up with:

    - a lot of stuffs missing right?, the floor is the same as the wall, the green lines ended up in white-ish, the images on the wall went missing too, the stair type thing on the wall also ended up in a white-ish finish?

    anyone here knows why?

thanks in advance for those who can give hints or ideas on why things got lost in the render. ;D

What version of VfSU do you use?

Have you applied materials to the outside of groups/components? (You should never do that - all materials should be applied to faces.)
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

If I remember correctly, sometimes you have to right click and export the jpegs from your materials out of sketchup onto your hard drive so that Vray can 'see' the file. I think it happens when you download stuff from Google warehouse, but I may be wrong. You can check it out in the vray materials tree to see if it is finding the diffuse maps ok.
