  • SMALL LIGHTING ISSUE

    Firstly, hi there everyone...

Im new to vray, and so i decided to try this tutorial : http://www.scribd.com/doc/1845643/VR...ketchUp-Manuall

Anyways, i having a problem with creating a light. I followed every stem but as soon as i render, there is a shadow of the light i created. Here is what i mean: http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5880/chairsgi.jpg The square shadow is not supposed to be there, its the light. I tried double sided and fiddled with the settings, but its still there.

I searched for about an hour for a solution, but im stuck. Can some one please help me...

    Re: SMALL LIGHTING ISSUE

The problem is that you have the Physical camera enable and the sky/sun enable on the environment rollout. Go to the camera rollout and disable the physical camera, then go to "Environment" and click on the "M" near GI(Skylight) and near "Background" and select "none". Go to Global switcher and disable the default light. By doing that you are rendering just with GI and the rectangular light that you created.
