another newbie question?

didn't notice this for a while, just now, when i opened my Local C: drive, a ton of materials that I've used in some of my render's ended up there???
is there an option on sketchup or vray to cancel that or atleast replace the directory on where those materials (thumbnail jpeg files) that get dumped during each render?
