Hi all
Just installed VRay and tried it on my last project. I'm quite a Sketchup beginner, but I think the modelling was decent.
I first tried to draw rectangular lights, and didn't see any light when rendering. I thought it might be the sun coming from the front overpowering the lamp so I added a wall to block the sun. Still no light. I try to increase the default light value and begin to see a faint light barely lighting the floor.
I increase the value to 500 and now it's obvious : this stupid light, stuck to the ceiling like any normal ceiling lamp, is projecting its light from under the tables !! approximately 2 metres of offset.

I move it up 2 metres and now the light comes from the ceiling, as it should.
Then I tried to add spotlights. When placed where they should, they behave as if they were 50cm above the tables (I have yet to understand how to control the beam and such).

OK, so I move them up 2 metres, and now I get no light at all... it seems the spotlights' beam is actually blocked by the ceiling even though they're placed above it precisely to counteract the offset bug.
It might not be VRay related, since I got normal results on another test model (what a relief).
But still... what could I do to make the lights behave normally on my complex model ? I don't know what could cause this offset and how I could have touched it 2 weeks ago, when I didn't even know VRay existed...
Thanks in advance...
