  • New Atrium Rendering - Need Suggestions Please

Hey everyone, this is my first interior rendering in a large atrium space. Can you please give me some pointers going forward? I am noticing a lot of noise on the floor. I recently changed my Rec. Light sub divisions from 8 to 4 to speed up render time....does this have anything to do with it? Also, the glass striaght ahead has no reflection when facing it straight on....can anyone help with settings for glass so I can get stronger straight on reflections? I also can see some materials need work, but generally, what is everyone's opinion, and what may you suggest for my next render that would be different than this?

    Here is the image

    Here is my IR Map

    Here is my LC

    Any comments welcome!

    Thanks

4 subs for a rec. light is very low. The IR and LC settings you have are good. To decrease the noise you need to improve the Image Sampler and DMC Sampler settings.
Regarding the reflections, it's because you're using fresnel falloff

Thanks for the fast reply. As for the Image Sampler and DMC sampler settings, I am little fresh when it comes to those settings. Can you please suggest what settings are best to use for a final render?

      Here are those current settings

As for the reflection, conceptually I understand what you mean. But I am not sure how to apply this to my glass settings. There is a color for reflection, which is currently set to white. How do I tell the material to always reflect?
