  • interior lighting - changed settings after closing SKP file

    Hi everyone,

I've had a bit of a problem rendering the scene below. The first image is the effect I created and wanted. However, I closed the file to render it to a larger output at a later time, and when I opened it to render it again, the final rendered image is different.

I'm using GI (intensity 9.0), as well as two omni lights in the space (0.5 each) and the rectangle ceiling lights (7.0).

Does anyone know what the difference is between these 2 images??
I've tried tweaking all sorts of settings but just can't work it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I meant what version of V-Ray for Sketchup.

The very first does not have any version info listed in the UI.
Service Release 1 and 2 have the number in the About section of the Options window. (1.00.74 or 1.05.30)
The latest has the version info under Window -> Preferences -> V-Ray for Sketchup

Btw - why are you using such an old version of Sketchup? You're not even using the latest release of version 6.

Sorry, I'm using the most recent trial version of vray, can't seem to find the evrsion number using either of those options
I haven't had chance to update sketchup yet. Would that affect how vray works..?
