  • Interior Scene - Problem with rectangular lights

    Hi everyone,
i'm trying to render an interior scene, and i can't understand how to solve a problem, i tried in many tutorials but still don't understand.
    I've rendered this scene:

Every glass of every window has a rectangular light with these values:
    Multiplier: 0.1
    Light Portal (checked)
    Invisible (checked)
    Store With Irradiance Map (checked)

The opened door on the left and 2 windows behind the camera have the same kind of light and same settings.

The sunlight is set to 1, and it's included in the skylight sun-light source.

The principal problem is that windows work more like a lamp than a normal window: the light goes up to the ceiling both from the entrance door and the windows.
Could please anyone tell me what am i doing wrong?
I tried also to reduce the rectangular light demsion by a half, but the light came in exactly the same way.

Thanks to anyone that will help

Re: Interior Scene - Problem with rectangular lights

When you use "light portal" the intensity and the color is controlled by the environment behind them. That means that you can't control the intensity or the color. Disable the light portal option.
