  • Rendering Problems - Grainy image

    Hi All,

    I am currently having problems with my rendering. My final rendered image seems to be grainy.
    I have tried different settings and different templates for the settings.
    I tried using both the irradiance map and the DMC settings.
    What could possibly be the problems?
    How do I get a good clean rendered image?

    Thanks =D

      Re: Rendering Problems - Grainy image

      try increasing the sub divs on the reflection layers of the materials from the standard 8 to soemwhere between 16 and 32, that in my experience should solve your grainy image.
      if this does not help and you have many onmi or rectangle lights in the scene then upgrade their subdivs as you did with the materials.
      im still very new to this so maybe someone more experienced could confirm my suggestions,
      hope it all goes well
