  • reflection in render

Hi, I have a problem when rendering simple white material without reflection layer - its reflecting the blue color of sky on the material. Looks unrealistic. In options/enviroment I have GIskylight white color and type Sky and background black color, reflection and refraction disabled.
Does anyone know why this happens?? Thank you!

    Re: reflection in render

Hello Zuzu and welcome to the ASGvis forums,
if you could share some more details together with an image, we would understand what exactly your question is.

    Two things on using Sky:
    - Sky sets up a realistic blue sky environment, depending on all the variables you can specify in the Sky options menu, including the time of day (to be set in the Sun settings --> create a Sun light first). Also, try adding Sky to the background to see how it works.
    - In general, you should use Physical Camera when using the sky and correct the white balance as needed (like a photo camera would do).

If you don't want to set up an outdoor scene, you shouldn't use Sky, but play around with colour and intensity of the GI (skylight) settings, only.

    Cheers,
    Matt
