hdri with sun

Hi! I'm having problems on how to use hdri together with the sun. I'm using blend material, material A is SKY with a sun plugin and Material B is Bitmap with hdri. and the output is not that good. shadows are not defined and i cant get the right blend and ambiance. please asgvis i need your help regarding this matter. Thank you so much for the help!

Can you tell us what version of V-ray you are using?

i'm using 1.48.89 sir, the latest version. what can I do to achieve a realistic shadow and ambience and also lighting?

Great! The SU default sun is actually our physical sun. In the Global Switches we have an option call default light. If you enable that option you are going to have a real sun. Now the question is how I control the setting for the sun? Well, you have to setup the Texsky in the GI color and you will see the option for the sun. Once you setup the sun and change the setting, if you have to change something, the default light keep those setting. After that you can replace the "TexSky" on the GI color for our desired HDRI. Remember enable the default light on the Global switches.
In this way you can have the as your default light, an HDRI on GI color and whatever you want in the BG color.
