My initial renders : FEEDBACKS

This is my very few first render after looking at some tutorials from the web.
Here are some questions from my side..

1 ) I placed rectangular light behind those chairs..but I want to know, the specific purpose for placing those lights..
2) Lately, I noticed that stamp reflection of chair on right hand window, what is it exactly...
3 ) Does HDRI reflection is way too awesome than this ???
