  • VRAY Transparency mapping

Can anyone advise how to use transparency mapping with latest VRAY version?
Reading VRAY manual I have feeling it is not up to date as is not compliant with what I see on my screen :-[ - some functions are missing

Below I post some pics that can be useful:

This is what I get when I add bitmap to 'transparency' on 'diffuse' level (BTW - I have no clue how to control bitmap coordinates here)

This is my goal - to have Superman logo - but transparent ;D

    Thanks in advance for help!

    Re: VRAY Transparency mapping

    Hi
Use two diffuse layer. One to control the UV mapping and the other to control the transparency.
Here one scene to show you the effect.

      Re: VRAY Transparency mapping

      Hi Guys,
apologize in advance for being the pain, however I am desparate to get it done properly.
I still do something wrong. :'(

Finally I managed to get the 'transparaent' texture, however still I receive 'background' texture. I assume this is a bitmap that is loaded to 'transparent' layer. <- see pic. below
How can I control it to get transparent text that creates shadow?

Thanks in advance for any advise!
