  • question about rendering an orthogonal view

Hello! I recently upgrade from vray for SK version 1.05 to version 1.48 . I just to be able to render orthogonal views by using the standar camera without problems , but now I'm trying to do the same thing with the other version and it is not working , I always got a perspective view.
Funny thing is that if I have a single cube , the render works fine for a front view or top view , but if I want an isometic it always I got back a perspective view. When I have a lot of things on the same view (the view I want have several items) I cannot render any orthogonal view at all. I hope somebody has an answer thankyou for you time

Never had this problem ... Try switching to parallel view in sketchup and then choosing "Get view aspect" in V-ray "Output" options.

BEQY, What version you are using? We made public the latest version 1.49.01.

I'm using version 1.48.83 , can it be a bug of this version?

Umm, this is a bug even in our latest build. We are working to fix this.
The workaround is very simple. Press "z" ( this is the short cut of zoom) then type "1". This is going to change the field of view to the minimum value and the view is going to be very close to orthogonal view. It is not a 100% orthogonal but it's very close. You could use even the physical camera with this method.
