I'm considering buying Artisan (aka subdivide and smooth) plugin for SU. Any reviews or comments?

looks great, but... i don't know, it seems to me like you could achieve a similar result with the sand box and the smooth and subdivide plugin

This is the "smooth and subdivide" plugin, same author, just a 2.0 version which he decided to name"Artisan". Old version of Smooth and Subdivide is still available and cost $15 as oppose to $39 for a new one.
Or is there some other smooth and subdivide plugin that is free and I don't know about it?

well, i downloaded mine from the internet... and it was free, the only thing is that they make my sketchup crash... i don't know why.
the truth is that i do not really use organic shapes, well, of course, appart from the coaches, beds and all those things.

That is my main aim - clothing, bedding etc. I think I will start with 15 days free trial and will report my opinion later here.

SDS / Artisan is not free. What you got was pirated software.

There's a lot of talk about it over at SketchUcation: http://forums.sketchucation.com/view...c15c162d049882
Several posts, people who make how to / tutorials and posting examples in the galleries.

                  HI Thomthom.
First I want to say that work that you do is amazing.
On sketchucation there is nothing but good reviews, I was hoping to find someone who can criticize it so I know about both good and bad side of the story . But it looks like everybody happy with it.
Also if I understand correctly it seems that I will be allowed to install it on more than one computer for a personal use, is that true?
